With 100 beautiful acres, The OC is an island of nature within
the city of Sioux Falls.
The Outdoor Campus opened in 1997. Funding for the
facility is provided by the sales of hunting and fishing licenses in South Dakota, and private donations and grant money.
The proceeds from the sales of hunting and fishing licenses also go toward wildlife management in the state to keep South
Dakota's wildlife abundant.
