January quiz 1
Here is a little quiz that is not very difficult.
The three birds (from 1-21-07) are shown
partially and then fully. See if you can ID them.
- The first mystery photo show a rare view of why this bird is named.
Without looking anything up, see if you can name the bird. (no challenge to most seasoned birders, but still fun). The second
photo shows the bird not hiding its head..
- The second mystery bird has a beautiful wing/tail pattern that is
often overlooked. What is the bird? Second photo shows it in full view.
- In the third mystery photo, this brown
eyed babe is given seven words in Sibley's. Second photo brings us to reality.
