 NATURE

is an educational and fun part of camp. Campers are taught to appreciate and preserve the natural environment. The nature program is done in the field and in the exciting Nature Barn, which includes a weather station. Campers get nature collector cards* to take home. The cards show the different creatures at camp, information about them, and where they live at camp. 

*The Nature Cards were funded by the Effie C. Skaarud Animal Welfare and Appreciation Fund of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, and the S.D. Dept. of Game, Fish, and Parks.
