Alumni "Where are you now? and what are you doing?

The re-introduction of native prairie grasses and flowers was done in the Spring of 2006, with the Minnehaha County Conservation District doing the planning and planting. Following the planting, drought conditions slowed germination, but some August downpours gave life to the seed. The first flowers bloomed on August 10.
